Singapore Cancer Society – Human Resources Intern

INTERN WILL LEARN AND BE EXPOSED TO:

• Real world knowledge of Human Resource Management in a VWO setting
• Hands on strategizing and planning
• Participation in regular staff meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. You will work closely with the HR Team to liaise with recruitment agencies for the hiring of all junior level positions.
2. You will manage current job portals and learn to assess candidate suitability for various job openings as needed.
3. You will also sit in interviews to learn, understand and apply appropriate interview skills and techniques.
4. You will work with the HR team to update and review HR processes and policies, laying the groundwork for the development of the Employee Handbook and HR Manual.
5. You will partner with our Staff Welfare Commitee to roll out employee engagement activities.
6. You will learn how to maintain the personal files of employees.
7. You will also assist in the compilation, coordination and execution of learning and development plans.
