Job Description

The Programmes Assistant will support the planning and delivery of our programmes, festivals, and events. 

Our programmes run year-round, reaching out to many audiences. They include the annual Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC), a premier festival for children's books; the prestigious biennial Singapore Literature Prize, the top literary prize in the country; Translation Day Singapore, which promotes literary translation; SBC Campus and Little Campus, our school outreach programmes; as well as our training and mentorship programmes which support and nurture new talents.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of programmes and events, including on-site set-up, front-of-house registration, and liaision with volunteers.
  • Communicate and liaise with authors, illustrators, translators, publishers, and programme partners.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support, including the preparation of agreements, quotations, and justification forms.
  • Handle phone and email enquiries, and provide general administrative assistance to the team as required.
