Your role: 

Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. electrical; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.); Perform general cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.

The post holder will be able to perform the following functions independently, with minimal guidance.

Brief role description: 

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, Pneumatic, Instrument and other installed systems;

• Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated Building management (BMS) Utility Management system (UMS) electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building repairs;

• Coordinate instrument maintenance with vendor and ensure documentation as per GMP/GLP/GDP requirement

• Maintain and Update Computer maintenance and management system

• Coordinate maintenance and repair of firefighting and detection and associated equipment.

• Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive Maintenance contracts;

• Conduct routine facilities operational work, coordination and maintenance of facilities equipment including some engaged through 3rd party vendor/contractor.

• Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems;

• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements;

• Support any afterhours building repairs or preventive maintenance and activities as required;

• Attend training sessions and seminars, and other assigned tasks as requested.

• Maintain detailed and accurate reports

• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and internal customers

Who you are:

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Electronic, Instrumentation, Facility management or equivalent.

Experience:

• Not necessary but 1-3 years of experience in facilities/building maintenance will be an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering or electronic, Instrumentation, Facility management or equivalent.

• Ability to perform multitasking

• Ability to work independently & perform troubleshooting

• Experience with a computer

• Communicate effectively both orally and writing
