Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items on the menu within the specified time set under the supervision of the Cook Supervisor / Assistant Head Chef
  • Familiar with all menu items, promotions and Feature of the Day
  • Ensure the production of all raw ingredients required for the preparation of all items on the menu
  • Ensure all food preparation are carried out in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures and Recipes
  • Ensure regular maintenance of all kitchen equipment, machinery and accessories
  • Responsible in ensuring all items prepared are done with the same level of quality and consistency
  • Ensure proper labelling of food items after preparation.
  • To comply with all health, safety and food hygiene legislation
  • To report and, where possible, to attend to and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise, in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and complete the necessary reports
  • Any other duties as assigned by Head Chef

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience
  • Holds high hygiene and safety standards
  • Takes initiative and a great team player
  • Willingness to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays
