Shiny Happy People is an established casting and talent agency specialising in advertisements across traditional and digital platforms. Apart from casting professional models and actors, the agency specialises in real people casting for lifestyle and character-driven spots.
The company has been casting for local and global advertising campaigns since 2001.
Hiring a hands-on intern to assist across the entire casting process—from initial brainstorm to the final shoot day. You will see how advertisements (online, traditional, and print) come to life from pre-production to fruition.
The Work
Sourcing: Finding the right faces for specific briefs and growing our talent database
Auditions: Set up/ prepping props if any, registering talent, acting as a reader/eyeline
Coordination: Liaising with agents and talents, scheduling appointments
Digital: Compiling photo decks for clients, simple headshot touch-ups, a basic video editing, doing up comp cards
On-Set: Managing talent welfare on shoot days to ensure a smooth production
Social Media: Contributing to our social channels (if you’re savvy/inclined).
Archiving: General post-project cleanup and organization
Requirements
Duration: 2–3 months (Starting late Feb / 2 March)
Background: Relevant background/ work experience in Film/Production/Advertising
Technical: Basic photo/video editing skills (Photoshop, PowerPoint, iMovie etc.)
Status: Singaporeans/PRs only
Pay indicated is for intern position.
For full-time Casting Assistant position, please state expected salary in your email. Singaporeans/ PRs only, with relevant experience/ background in film.
