SEACRUX Pte Ltd, a local startup backed by Enterprise Singapore and NUS Enterprise builds an innovative Vision Targeting Ad platform called “StyleCrush”. The first in Asia, StyleCrush delivers a highly targeted and contextual ads for the advertisers using advanced AI Image Recognition technology. The platform analyses fashion images across online media and presents readers with an exact or closest match (93% accuracy) of the fashion product.
StyleCrush disrupts the existing fashion eCommerce industry by improving the eCommerce ad-spend ROI by 35X. The market size opportunity in Asia alone for this disruption is US$106Bn in 2021as per data from WWP2018/Statista 2018 Digital Ads Asia.
We are looking for an independent individual to work in our Engineering team as Software Leader.
This role will take lead on feature development and enhancement of our vision targeting Ad platform. The incumbent will be responsible for the product planning and manage the development process with the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to enter the door of the rapidly growing digital ads industry.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Participate in the development of solutions for client site integrations and implement scalable features in our AD Server
• Work with external partners to find the best way to technically integrate our products & APIs into their systems and help to find the resolution for any obstacles it may encounter
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding in software design and architecture for advertising products and technology
• Proficiency in Linux and Java as server-side programming language
• Proficiency in MYSQL and HTML. Strong working knowledge of relational database (RDS).
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript implementation and integration
• Strong knowledge of data structures, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures & working knowledge on how the web works, HTTP protocol, cookies, caching, DNS, CDNs, etc.
• Experience working in a mix of Cloud and Enterprise data center environments
