Role Overview
We are looking for energetic, personable, and presentable individuals to represent Shinano's portfolio of premium Japanese whiskies and spirits. As a Promoter / Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our brands at tastings, in-store activations, and events across Singapore, engaging customers and driving sales through authentic brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-store product tastings and demonstrations at assigned retail locations
- Engage walk-in customers, introduce brand stories, and guide purchasing decisions
- Set up and break down tasting stations; ensure neat and presentable brand displays
- Achieve sales targets and upsell where appropriate
- Maintain thorough product knowledge across the Shinano portfolio (whisky, gin, vodka, and other spirits)
- Represent the brand professionally at events, trade shows, and corporate functions
- Comply with Singapore's responsible alcohol service guidelines and legal requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age (legal requirement for alcohol-related roles)
- Prior experience in retail, F&B, promotions, or events preferred but not required
- Outgoing, confident, and able to engage diverse customer groups
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
- Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and during evening events
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
