DB Schenker is a global logistics leader. At our Singapore Regional Head Office location, we defineand execute company strategy for the APAC region. In the age of Digital Transformation, IT is avital part of our company’s strategy definition. To facilitate and lead this topic, the area of Digital Innovation has been established within DB Schenker’s IT organization.
During this internship, you will work closely with the Head of Digital Innovation APAC and support him in the following (non-exhaustive) topics:
- Technology research and evaluation to understand the feasibility of the technology for DB Schenker’s business.
- Research and evaluate existing Digital Innovation use cases in the APAC region and globally
- Exchange with other regional innovation teams and with headquarters in Germany
- Support Digital Innovation projects from the initial alignment stage with internal and external stakeholders until Proof of Concept completion
- Leverage data in Data Analytics / AI projects
- Requirements management for Schenker mobile apps
As the internship will be done in an agile environment, the successful applicant can learn new working models and – depending on the project situation – dive into diverse projects that range from all areas of the logistics industry.
