SAGE Counselling Centre is a community-based social service agency serving seniors and adults in areas such as counselling, mental health outreach, volunteer management, and community engagement.  As we expand our digital and physical outreach efforts, we are seeking motivated and creative students who are keen to gain hands-on experience in social service marketing and communications.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Social media content creation (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, EDM campaigns)
  • Event publicity and outreach support
  • Design of digital and print collaterals
  • Community engagement campaigns
  • Basic data tracking and marketing analytics
  • Supporting mental health awareness initiatives

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, social media management, and community outreach
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools would be an advantage
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Organised, proactive, and attentive to details
  • Interest in the social service sector, mental health awareness, or community engagement is preferred
  • Able to commit to a minimum internship period (TBA)
  • Preferred Skills (Optional but advantageous)
  • Basic content creation (short videos, reels, simple graphics)
  • Experience with event support or campaign planning
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics or social media insight
