Job Description

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various aspects of the supply chain management process. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how products flow from suppliers to customers, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support different stages of the supply chain, including procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, demand forecasting, lead times, supplier performance, and other key supply chain metrics.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting, reconciliations, and addressing discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as marketing, sales, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the supply chain.

Job requirements:

Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management and Business Administration

Expectation of intern:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong aptitude for data analysis and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point Tools and possibly data visualization software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify supply chain challenges, propose innovative solutions, and drive process improvements.

Duration: 3-6 months

Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30am
