Job Description

The Intern is responsible to assist the system control engineer for the deployment and operation of IoT automation Projects applied to aquaculture including troubleshooting and maintenance of the system.

Key responsibilities

The incumbent will be required to assist the engineer with:

• Support Projects deployments and Operations at the customer sites
• Participate in quality or safety investigations and implement any automation solutions resultant from these investigations.
• Provide training to end users on process control system.
• Research and development activities
• Support the R&D team.
• Provide feedback and discuss product improvement.
• Improve, propose new and support existing and future hardware and automation solution.

Qualifications

• Studied or currently pursuing Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to engage with users in a professional manner and plainly present technical concepts.
• Hunger to learn new things and ability to scale with new challenges outside of his/her area of work.
• High energy, pro-active, responsible, independent, self-motivated and diligent
• Caring for team and customers with excellent people skills
• Full time at office/shrimp farm
• Minimum 6 months

Eligibility 

• Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
• For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
• You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
• You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
• The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.

• Between 18 to 25 years old (inclusive) as of date of WHP application
