Support of purchasing responsibilities with focus on Battery Tender Project

  • Assist buyer in consolidating quotations from suppliers
  • Perform basic excel chart and table
  • Communicating with suppliers on the tender follow up
  • Able to analyse purchasing data using excel tool (vlooup, PIVOT table, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of using powerpoint presentation on preparing purchasing report
  • Support buyer on sample requesting and co-ordination with supplier

Master Data Maintenance

  • Update of contracted pricing into various SAP system
  • Support in ensuring data quality in SAP
  • Support other purchasing tool data maintenance eg. SRM (Supplier Relationship Maintenance)
  • Supplier master data maintenance

Payment Verification

  • Verify invoice discrepancy with follow up actions e.g: Following up with suppliers on credit notes/Debit notes

Document Preparation

  • Prepare contract documents with Suppliers and route for signatories

Purchasing Support

  • Support team buyers in purchasing task e.g: Data analysis of quotation and supplier profile and following up on quotation request
  • Provide support to other business functions with regards to enquiries about pricing, master data maintenance
  •  Ensure documents / approvals are in place for Mitigation checks
  • Preparation and sending of mass communications to suppliers
  • Basic knowledge in supply-chain/logistic to support PUR on operation topics.

Purchasing Reporting

  • Support team in various purchasing reporting functions
  • Able to perform the price comparison using vlookup on monthly basis

Support of Quality Management responsibilities with focus on

  • Tracking and evaluation of 8D reports
  • OES & IAM complaint register updating and follow up
  • Support in releasing new products and maintaining related internal processes and systems
  • Standardize data collection for specific Quality management aspects and prepare for further
  • Create and improve work instructions, process instructions and central directives
  • Design new concepts for improved Key Performing Index monitoring




  • Interest in technical, automotive industry
  • Multi task and work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Speak fluent in English
  • Eye for details



  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies

  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:

  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.

  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
