  • Collaborate with product owners, internal and external stakeholders to translate customer requirements and use cases into work packages.
  • Contribute to the integration of sensors into a home appliance, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Create engaging technical concepts supported by IoT in consumer-facing businesses.
  • Identify and propose improvements by taking a user-centered approach to rapidly test and iterate implemented solutions.
  • Support team members in their daily tasks and perform basic data gathering experiments with simple equipment.

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical or a related field.
  • Knowledge and some experience in the use of embedded system (Raspberry Pi) experience.
  • Solid understanding of image processing algorithms and techniques (Computer Vision). Familiarity with video encoding and compression standards.
  • Some experience with simulation tools for analog/digital design. Experience in PCB design and layout for integrating cameras into electronic devices. Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python for implementing camera functionalities. Experience in implementing communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and USB.
  • Good grasp of engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for technology.
  • Eager, quick learner with a strong team-work spirit.

 

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies

  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:

  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.

  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
