  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify areas where automation can improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in threat detection and response.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation scripts, tools, and frameworks to support cybersecurity processes, including threat analysis.
  • Conduct research on emerging automation technologies and cybersecurity best practices to recommend innovative solutions for process improvement.
  • Participate in the testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation scripts and tools to ensure reliability, scalability, and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Document automation processes, procedures, and configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as network operations, system administrators, and software developers, to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to continuously enhance automation capabilities and contribute to a proactive security posture.
  • Support the cybersecurity team in various ad-hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience in parsing tool for xml to extract key information
  • Knowledge in database tools such as SQL, MongoDB, etc
  • Knowledge in SecOps, Threat analysis and Risk assessment (TARA) will be a plus.
  • Good grasp of engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager, quick learner with a strong team-work spirit.

 

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies

  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:

  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.

  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
