Job Description
  • Conducting logistics (warehousing, transportation) market research
  • Developing request for information (RFI) and evaluation of requests for quotation (RFQ) offers
  • Initial contact (supplier sourcing) and follow through correspondences with suppliers
  • Liaise with Logistics Commodity Buyers in the region
  • Active use of Robert Bosch’s online tender toll to support Q&A platform
  • Drafting presentation slides for internal stakeholder meetings
  •  Support to the Logistics Lead Buyer and Commodity Buyers


Requirements:

  • Able to work full time for a period of 6 months
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) and work in a multinational environment
  • Proactive disposition
  • Ability to understand purchasing activities
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently on projects and tasks
  • Structured method of working
  • Goal-oriented

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
