Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities 

You will provide support to the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team on both origination and execution work in RHB’s Singapore office. You will primarily work with the analysts and associates and support them in the preparation of pitchbooks and company profiles / teasers, trading and transaction comparable analysis and conduct company and industry research etc.

At the end of the internship, the intern will be able to apply financial concepts on a practical basis, gain an understanding of the FIG industry and have a broad appreciation for business dynamics across other sectors in the wider ASEAN region.


Candidate Profile 

· Education 

− Candidates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply

− Progression towards the CFA or CA qualification(s) will be viewed favorably

· Experience:

− Previous internship(s) in M&A or capital markets, equity / fixed income research, other relevant experience in financial services, management consulting and accountancy preferred

· Competencies: 

− Methodical, meticulous and possesses strong analytical skills

− Excellent organizational skills and able to handle pressure and tight deadlines

− Self-motivated and confident with a high degree of initiative and work integrity

· Skills: 

− Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and corporate finance concepts

− Bloomberg, ThomsonOne, Factiva, Capital IQ, Dealogic and Mergermarket

− Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

− Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin

− Fluency in an additional Southeast Asian language would be a plus (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese)
