Rex Commodities Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore to invest in the commodity market and the related assets, primarily specializing in the origination and delivery of bulk commodities. The mother group China Coal Solution is a public company listed in Shanghai Securities Exchange, China (600180.SH). Rex Commodities’ current product portfolio includes oil, coal and iron ore. The Company was successfully awarded by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore the Global Trader Programme (GTP) status in collaboration to promote overseas growth of Singapore-based enterprises and international trade.
Interns will be working closely with the traders and assisting in the middle office or back office roles. Undergraduates can intern with us during your vacation breaks or your professional attachment period. Only passionate and committed individuals are considered.
Middle office role
- Responsible for analysis risk and compliance monitoring
- Update mark-to-market price for all positions and reconciliation
- Prepare all derivative and physical cargoes reporting
Back office role
- Prepare and execute sales and purchase contracts
- Manage shipping documents for Letter of Credit application and bank negotiation
- Responsible for full spectrum of bulk and container operations documentation
Requirements:
- Undergraduates from recognized university
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and tight deadline
- Strong team player, systematic, analytical and meticulous
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with China counterparts)
- High performing interns will receive an offer of full-time employment upon graduation

- Office hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
