Job Description

We are looking for a Process and Industrialization Engineer, who can work independently, proactive in contribution and is able to demonstrate critical thinking to be part of the Industrialization Engineering team working on challenging tasks in a manufacturing environment.The position requires one to have good project management, process and integration skills and a mindset for continuous improvements in terms of cell efficiency, module power, quality, reliability, etc. in the plant by implementing best known methods.Selected candidate will work closely with different stakeholders (Vendors/equipment/technology/operations) to introduce new technology or processes and ensuring its’ stability after implementation.

• Safety

Possess safety mindset and be able to identify potential risk involving all works in REC.

• Management.

Possess excellent project management skills by establishing schedules, required resources (both within the organization or 3rd party), and cost of projects and risks identification to implement and execute the required projects. Ability to create excellent customer supplier relationship. The ability to build good relationship is to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The key performance indicators are the results and prompt project schedule control.

• Quality

Possess quality mindset. Work with related departments (such as Production, Equipment, Quality, Technology) to resolves quality issues and implement required decisions made by management. Ensure no quality issues during proper change management implementation phase.

• Cost

Initiate / participate in projects relating to cost reduction. These types of projects will relate to man, method, machine, and materials.

• Continuous Improvement

Initiate and lead projects relating to improvement activities in cell efficiency, module power, quality or reliability. To run and execute projects base on RPDM process flow. Engineer will have the chance to research on new processes and materials to be implemented into the production environment.

• Process Integration activities

Perform qualification and data analysis on new process / material improvements for enhancing cell efficiency, module power and module reliability. Ensure product reliability while new changes are implemented.Improve the current system to improve process stability and control.

• Others

Able to establish good working relationship with cross functional teams and provide necessary support. Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the degree of difficulties and involvement of the specific targets set in the department.

 

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials / Mechanical /Chemical Engineering /Physics / Chemistry

• Knowledge in semiconductor/solar PV processes preferred.

• Strong knowledge and experience in process integration & development methods

• Knowledge in PFMEA, DFMEA, DOE, Fish-Bone Analysis, etc.

• Strong technical analysis competency with the use of analytical tools like JMP, Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and datamining

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and render support to production as and when needed.

• Strong in organization and project management

• Good communication skill.

• Commitment to get issues resolved and provide updates in a timely manner•

• Willing to travel over sea for site support or new equipment evaluation for long term (6 months to 1 year)

• Dynamic & committed with proactive working attitude

• Ability to initiate without being asked

• Challenging spirit to improve current conditions

• Highly effective personal skills – communication and organization

• Good Team player

Other Information

• Good knowledge in assembly process and sound familiar in soldering and encapsulation process.

• Electrical characterization and physical characterization/ Failure Analysis tools for systematic troubleshooting and improvement.
