Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internship (HR Marketing) with our Human Resource (HR) Team due to new projects in 2019.

Theme for the project that you will be involved in is: “What makes Rakuten Attractive Workplace”.

You will be assisting our Talent Acquisition team in building up our Employer Value Proposition and executing talent strategy plans to meet current and future hiring needs. You will run campaigns to broadcast and promote Rakuten Asia as a young, fun, dynamic, diverse & performance driven organization. To do so, you will curate, create and publish content that will highlight key differentiators to set us apart from competitors, and most importantly help the team to achieve our employer branding goals.

As a member of the HR team, you would be able to shape and promote a positive culture and work environment. There will also be opportunity to have hands-on experience in other HR/ administrative functions and gain valuable experience. Most importantly, you will gain a good understanding of how the human resource function is a pivotal role in the success of our organisation.

 You will be able to put into practice what you’ve learnt in school, develop new skills from actual experience, and more importantly broaden your horizon beyond your course of studies.


Requirements:

  • Our ideal candidate would be someone who possess creativity and a positive “Get Things Done” attitude.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have a good understanding on the basic mechanism of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Would be good to have (but not a must) skills in videography and video-editing.
