Who are we:

Quest is a request-based Peer-to-Peer platform where users can seek help from others for timely, cost-competitive services, and simultaneously offer their services through the app. In addition to benefiting the service seeker, the platform also aims to help freelancers reach out to more leads and increase income opportunities without the worries of safety or payments. Quest is supported by the National Youth Council, SMU's Business Innovations Generator (BIG) by IIE, and has garnered over 800 users on our testbed telegram channel within 2 months of operations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to play a critical role in the early-stages of Quest. If you are a quick learner, independent, and love to get your hands dirty, we would love to have you over for a chat over coffee!

What you will be doing:

• Increase client base & build customers’ relationship
• Manage platform and channel partnerships
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking and social media (e.g. Telegram, LinkedIn etc)
• Set up online and onsite meetings with potential users and listen to their concerns
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

What we are looking for:

• A highly-driven individual with the knack to learn on the fly, and a creative problem solver at heart.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment.
• High interpersonal skills, ability to identify the needs of our customers
• Minimum 3 months (part-time/full-time summer)
