About NODO

We are recruiting for NODO, a media & discovery service launched by EMURGO, the commercialization arm of Cardano, the world's largest blockchain project.  EMURGO Africa, the Middle East and Africa arm of EMURGO (headquartered in Dubai) is planning to become a pioneer in WEB3 in the Middle East and Africa region. To do this, we plan to launch an innovation platform for startup media/startups in WEB3.

Africa is one of the top startup growth markets in the world, with 10 unicorn companies already created and over 30 potential unicorn companies. Africa is also one of the world's leading blockchain/cryptocurrency growth markets, which is why we began our investment operations in 2021 and have already invested in over 20 WEB3 related companies.

Currently, major nations in the Middle East are working on becoming global initiatives for WEB3. Dubai already has more than 1,000 companies in the metaverse and blockchain, among others, and the Dubai government aims to increase the number of blockchain companies fivefold over the next five years. Saudi Arabia has also announced a USD64B investment in cutting-edge technology, including Metaverse.

The initial phase will launch the first radical web3 media in Africa. Next, we aim to become the largest and most comprehensive startup media in Africa. Ultimately, we aim to establish a mechanism (like Product Hunt or AngelList) that will continuously generate WEB3 startups and make the Middle East and Africa a global growth market for WEB3.
