Contract Software Engineer (1-year)
Be part of the Technology team that designs, implements and engineer software applications & solutions in the payment industry. At the heart of our software development process is the desire to make payments more simple and secure, whilst ensuring flexibility to meet any business payment acceptance requirements.
Technical skills and knowledge required:
- Excellent understanding of PHP – Code Igniter framework or similar (MVC) Web Application Development framework
- Ability to support Server Scripting by doing Front-end aspects like Javascript, HTML & CSS
- Understanding of MySQL or any other SQL like databases
- Experienced in Web Service API engineering
- Technical knowledge in:
- PHP
- MySQL, Workbench
- Codeigniter, Zend
- Git Version Control, Gitlab
- Netbeans, Postman
- Codeception
- Phinx Migrator
- HTML/HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, JQuery, AJAX
- Object oriented based analysis and design
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience in software programming
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Codeigniter, Web Service API, MS SQL Server, HTML, Javascript and CSS
- A team player with good communication skills in English
- This is a 12-month contract position
