Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming RMs quality & document checks (eg: health certificates, COA & specs).
- Conduct sensory evaluation of shelf stable RMs (Exclude fresh & frozen items)
- Report non-conformance RMs to QA manager.
- Daily GMP checks on warehouse RM storage locations. (eg: temperature records of vegetable, seafood, meat chillers & freezers)
- Daily GMP checks of hot kitchen & vegetable preparation area.
- Monitoring & recording of CP/CCP or OPRP at hot kitchen & vegetable preparation area. Eg: sieves, magnet, metal detector checks.
- Weekly environmental ATP hygiene swab test for operators (staff) & food handling instruments & tools.
- Collection of environmental samples, eg: water for external lab testing.
- Assist in review & updates of QA documents eg: Internal specifications, SOP, WI & recording sheets.
- Back up for Quality Executive (P1 – downstream: retort process)
Requirements
- ITE, diploma or degree in food science, chemistry/biochemistry or microbiology
- Be responsible, strictly enforce the Singapore Food Act, HACCP, FSSC etc.
- Be fair to everyone regardless the position if someone does not follow the rules
- Be familiar with the SOP set-up
- Work 6 days/week; Alternate Saturday
