Job Description

PnP Fintech Innovation platform is expanding to Singapore!

We are searching for a Community Manager who will be responsible for the day to day tasks that their vertical faces in terms of scheduling deal flows between corporations and start ups, planning events for networking, preparing monthly newsletters for their vertical, ordering promotional materials and supplies for the team, and other essential duties as needed.

The Community Manager is seen as the primary point of contact for their team, along with corporations and start ups engaged with their specific vertical.

Duties and Responsibilities

Corporate Facing

  • Organize a minimum of six deal flows between corporate partners and start ups per year
  • Assist Ventures team with the collection of feedback after each deal flow your vertical is responsible for
  • Reduce the amount of traffic from Director by answering questions from corporate partners and startups in a professional and friendly manner

Startup Facing

  • Create meaningful and positive relationships with the startups in your vertical
  • Introduce new members to corporate partners when there is a potential match or opportunity
  • Arrange casual dinners or group lunches in an effort to form a sense of community amongst the startup batches

Marketing

  • Prepare documents for major events
  • Coordinate a monthly newsletter with your team to keep entire network up to date on events
  • Work with our Marketing team to post relevant news and updates to social media

Event Planning

  • Customize and prepare respective materials as they pertain to different events
  • Update Orientation packets for each new batch of startups
  • Collaborate with Mentors to plan group, one on one, or individual sessions
  • Organize catering and engage startups with the mentor session
  • Schedule monthly team meet-ups
  • Confirm attending startups for the EXPO event; gather all information for the EXPO brochure regarding startups from your vertical; record attendees; prepare necessary materials for the event

Administrative

  • Update documents as changes occur, including Mailchimp, Dropbox, Salesforce and Google Drive
  • Order necessary materials and equipment from vendor and prepare purchase orders for accounting
  • Manage all calendar invites for events.

Other

  • Contact professors in an attempt to include them into the program
  • Connect with VC's to schedule calls, events, and deal flows
  • Complete additional projects as needed
