Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and energetic marketing intern to join our marketing department! You will be directly assisting the Brand, Marketing and Partnerships Director in planning and executing creative marketing strategy and activities, as well as day to day support when required.  

As a brand and marketing intern, you will also work closely with our digital and marcom team to align marketing overall objectives and ensure smooth and timely delivery of all plans and activities. Core duties include but not limited to creative ideation, market research, copywriting, content creation, events and other administrative duties. You must be able to multi-task in this truly diverse role, which will give you great exposure and foundational understanding of what makes a successful marketeer for a tech start up.

Responsibilities

  • Ideation and execution of both offline and online marketing activities to support overall marketing and sales strategy and goals (campaigns, events, contests, collaborations etc) while upholding brand equity and positioning
  • Research, prepare and distribute promotional and materials documentations materials (presentations, case studies, pamphlets, articles etc)
  • Perform market research on industry news and trends, competition and other related activities
  • Plan and execute marketing events – documenting, creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and writing reports in the process while managing timelines and keeping to budget
  • Support in other daily administrative tasks as and when needed

Requirements

  • Self-motivation and discipline to work with minimal supervision
  • An inquisitive and creative mind with a strong desire to learn and a sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of marketing and its applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of CRM applications will be a plus
  • A Diploma or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or Business or related discipline
