Job Description

Overview

The Chope Group is seeking an intern to join our growing Editorial team. The intern should have an affinity for food as well as a passion (and flair) for writing. A successful candidate should be a steadfast writer who will work closely with the editorial executives as part of the marketing team in Singapore. The intern will mainly be responsible for developing content for the Chope blog, On The Menu, as well as other editorial tasks required.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Generate timely and interesting articles for the Chope blog.
  • Manage and strategise the editorial calendar.
  • Write and proof any editorial/marketing content as required.

Key Attributes/Knowledge/Experience

  • Academic background in communication/journalism.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral and an attention to detail.
  • Can work independently but should also work well with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • To succeed in the role you will be able to demonstrate:
    • A profound interest in journalism
    • The ability to prioritise and be organised
    • Creativity and a flexible work style
    • The ability to be a self-starter who can take direction and contribute ideas
