Pilgrim Partners Asia (Pte.) Ltd – Database & Information Systems Intern

Pilgrim Partners Asia (Pte.) Ltd is looking for a Database & Information Systems Intern in Singapore to be part of our development team. At the end of the internship, you will gain an understanding of how a hedge fund operates and its internal processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and to gain exposure to the finance and fund management industry. As an intern at our company, you will work with our development and operations team to build in-house applications for internal use. You should be able to work independently, have a strong interest in finance and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a diverse team of talented people to design, develop and improve back-end systems to handle trade reconciliation and reporting
• Gather client requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure code quality with unit and integration testing

Requirements:

• A student pursuing a diploma/degree/certification in Business IT, Information Systems or related fields
• Able to commit at least 3 months
• Working knowledge in Python, VBA, Excel and SQL
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving capability
• Able to write robust code
• Willingness to learn
• A team player with good communication skills
