Job Description

The Opportunity:

Paula’s Choice Singapore is seeking to hire a Social Media & Content Specialist with strong content creation skills and a relevant portfolio that demonstrates their passion for social media and the beauty industry. With a keen aesthetic eye, s/he will work with our marketing and customer excellence teams to translate brand and consumer needs into impactful content across various social media channels, reflecting the brand’s vision.

The role requires an ambitious and innovative individual who is self-motivated in creating engaging content quickly to reflect rapidly changing customer concerns and trends on Social Media. With a focus on elevating Paula’s Choice to be best-in-class, s/he must maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and strive to forge a strong brand connection with our audience.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing Social Media

  • Plan Social Media calendars and content for Social Media Accounts and Pages (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Work with Creative team to source and produce a variety of brand content (photos, memes, product demos, behind-the-scenes videos, quotes, etc).
  • Schedule and post content on a daily/weekly basis across social media channels, depending on the requirements of each channel.
  • Work with a variety of social media management tools and content management systems for scheduling and publishing content across platforms.
  • Regularly research / analyse social media trends to create reactive brand content across platforms quickly.
  • Ensure that all content created reflect our brand’s vision and tone of voice, with a focus on skincare education and customer experience.
  • Conceptualize and execute meaningful social campaigns to drive brand engagement and recognition.
  • Relentlessly engage with our followers and influencers to create positive personal interactions and amplify conversations with the brand.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with influencers, and regularly update them on brand initiatives.
  • Proofread influencer generated branded content to ensure information accuracy.

 

D2C Content

  • Write creative copies and collaborate with designers to implement them across email, digital, social, web and other channels.
  • Assist with shooting content for social and D2C on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that expert articles from HQ are updated on website.

 

Administration & Reporting

  • Present finalized content ideas and concepts to the marketing team.
  • Monitor engagement rates, reach, comments across platforms and web traffic contribution for biweekly content reviews regarding performance.
  • Suggest social content improvements based on analysis and reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all content files for dissemination to teams and partners.
  • Work with marketing team to ensure the availability of all listed products on shoppable social platforms.
  • Work with design team to ensure content adherence to brand guidelines.

 

Requirements:

  • A high proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with a portfolio (writing samples) that demonstrates creative flair.
  • A strong track record of growing relevant social media accounts.
  • Moderate to high competency in Adobe Photoshop or any image editing software, and at least some foundational experience with video editing.
  • Some prior experience with photography (preferred), with a keen eye for aesthetic and design.
  • Foundational knowledge in videography, with the ability to handle basic camerawork and video editing for short-form content (e.g. TikTok, Instagram Stories).
  • Some prior In-house working experience, preferably with a premium beauty/lifestyle brand.
  • Strong project management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple platform deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Foundational knowledge of email marketing.
