Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

 

Managing E-commerce Marketplace Campaigns

  • Develop and manage positive relationships with various key account managers to secure the best exposure and visibility on ecommerce marketplaces, investing only in winning initiatives.
  • Manage assortment and pricing strategies on each platform.
  • Ensure that marketplace campaigns and objectives are not in direct conflict with D2C campaigns.
  • Ensure that all marketplace-generated brand content and images are aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure that all marketplace campaigns are carried out according to initial agreements with key account managers.
  • Assess the results and effectiveness of campaigns for reporting purposes.

 

Managing D2C Campaigns

  • Develop an innovative campaign strategy integrated with media channels to elevate the company as a significant customer-centric D2C player in the Beauty industry, in terms of customer experience, revenue and profitability.
  • Stay updated on industry/consumer trends and competitive landscape to create effective campaigns that prioritize building loyalty through means other than price promotions.
  • Work with D2C collaborators and media partners in driving customer acquisition
  • Ensure that creative team delivers brand-aligned D2C campaign content on site, social media and EDMs in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Customer Excellence and use data to optimize chat and email conversations across channels to drive conversion, customer satisfaction and revenue during campaigns.
  • Work with Operations team to ensure inventory readiness for upcoming campaigns.
  • Assess campaign results and effectiveness while selecting the right metrics to evaluate the brand’s success on D2C compared to other platforms.
  • Constantly test and iterate, track, measure and analyze all initiatives to report ROI

 

Public Relations

  • Manage & select PR and KOL programs to execute, to grow brand awareness and online presence during campaigns.
  • Maintain relationships with key media personnel and prepare press releases/media kits for new product launches or campaigns
  • Track, measure and analyze ROI of initiatives, taking into account short, mid and long-term viability.

 

Administration & Reporting

  • Presenting campaign plans to HQ.
  • Monitoring and reporting of business results and campaigns via presentations to HQ.
  • Keeping tabs on A&P costs as well as ROI

 

Leadership and Development

  • Identify talent opportunities and attract proven performers.
  • Create an environment where team is supported, motivated and encouraged to bet big for the business.
  • Clearly communicate D2C/Marketplace campaign strategies to the team and ensure collaboration with proper partners to execute/leverage
  • Work closely with HQ to stay updated on latest changes in brand guidelines/ policy, and regularly communicate important updates to the team
  • Develop and nurture team to achieve best internal/external practices

 

Requirements:

  • A High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A University degree, preferably in Marketing/Business.
  • At least 2-5 years working experience either with an ecommerce marketplace (e.g. Shopee/Lazada/Amazon/Zalora), or a brand-focused business with backend experience of the marketplace platform.
  • A proven track record of leading successful brand campaigns, hiring and retaining high performance talent.
  • At least 2-5 years working experience with a beauty/skincare/luxury brand.
  • Prior experience using Shopify, and strong computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in running campaigns on Google and Facebook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities to unite key stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Foundational knowledge of email marketing, preferably with prior experience in Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
  • Foundational knowledge of A&P management.
