Through the internship, you will be given opportunity to hone your skills in visual merchandising, retail customer service, e-commerce order management as well as inventory management. our internship will see you privy to real-world practice retail B2C and retail B2B sales operations as you manage both retail and wholesale duties which include serving retail customers, liasing with wholesale customers and buyers. For the motivated intern, you will hone and gain skills through the active use of software / platforms such as Shopify, Lazada, Shopee & Zalora. You will gain a comprehensive appreciation of the intricacies of the retail industry and inside know-how of how brands are distributed in Singapore. You will definitely add valuable experience and credentials to your portfolio!
SALES
- Achieving store’s daily and monthly targets by active sales push and link selling
- Assisting customers with product demonstrations, product information, inventory checks and relevant recommendations
- Updating customers with current promotions and offers
- Ensuring accurate Records, Cashiering & Till Management
- Providing outstanding service via handling of telephone and walk-in queries
VISUAL MERCHANDISING (RETAIL & WHOLESALE)
- Offering hands-on involvement in merchandising, in-store displays and price tagging of products
- Quick and efficient replenishing, reorganizing of shelf-space and display of new arrivals to maximize sales opportunities
- Updating & Maintenance of Product and Customer files, database and forms.
- Keeping detailed and proper sales, voucher, gift records.
- Timely updating of communication book / messages to co-workers to ensure smooth running of business and to ensure excellent customer followup.
- Maintaining overall neat, premium image of stores through active housekeeping and general store duties
E-COMMERCE & WHOLESALE
- Processing of e-commerce and wholesale orders
- Scheduling of delivery and pick up of orders for both end consumers as well as wholesale stockists
- Preparing of packaging materials and products for mega campaigns and promotional periods
- Pick , pack and tag products and assist with prcoessing of new shipments
- Creating codes and SKU submission for e-commerce and wholesale accounts
- Conduct stock take and manage inventory age and quality
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma Holder (Service & Hospitality , Retail Management) and/or partime retail experience in FMCG industry
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in english
- Candidate needs to be meticulous and accurate with written and typed data.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines is a must
- Good grooming
