We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for product photography, colour, layout, content creation, graphic design, aesthetic on-trend visuals and effective visual communication who will be responsible for creating assets, graphic and visual content with the marketing team here at PaperMarket. 

Job Description

There will never be a dull moment for our digital marketing Intern here at PaperMarket! You will be inspired by awesome products, the vibrant pulse of the retail industry and the tremendous learning opportunities that come along with working for an exciting brand.

Through the internship, you will be given opportunity to put sales ideas and marketing concepts into practice and witness the outcome of your direct efforts. Your internship will see you privy to real-world practice brand management, digital marketing, SEO, multi-channel marketing and social media management. For the motivated intern, you will hone and gain skills through the active use of software / platforms such as Shopify, Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, Google, Retail POS-CRM-Automated Marketing as well as SEO and Business Analytics Apps. You will gain a comprehensive appreciation of how perfectly executed marketing plans will serve as engines of growth for the brand. You will add valuable experience and credentials to your portfolio!

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES 

 • Designing digital content to engage and recruit customers

• Designing newsletters, launch publicity and brand collaterals

• Creating interactive formats such as videos, gifs, live stream etc

• Managing social media channels and editorial calendar for timely, relevant and engaging content

• Updating of E-Market Place / Facebook -IG Store with product visuals, videos and links

• Identifying collaboration opportunities to drive digital marketing success

• Analysing brand and campaign performance with the use of business analytics and ROI tools 

• Editing and Creating blog content, website content based on SEO Analytics

• Preparing updates on potential market segments, influencers, trends picked

• Honing Marketing & PR strategy, identifying PR opportunity

 

 DIGITAL MARKETING – DESIGN & COMMUNICATION

  • Creator of brand assets (audio visual / graphic) that are consistent with brand’s positioning and image
  • Creator multi-media, multi-device friendly formats that would deliver the most impactful campaign message and drive call to action
  • Maintain Overall Design and Aesthetics of PaperMarket’s Website, E-Commerce Sites and online presence
  • Update and maintain current representation of the brand on FB / IG / TikTok / Google / Lazada / other partner sites
  • Write attention grabbing captions and SEO friendly blog and website copy writing
  • Identify marketing and social media trends, new and novel ways to communicate with and engage customers

 

MEDIA MANAGEMENT - STRATEGY & ANALYSIS

  • Plan, Schedule, Monitor and Review social media content
  • Database email collection – Lead Generation Ads, Giveaways , Contests
  • Actively involved in SEO edits and updates (keyword, image optimization)
  • Prepare online newsletters, promotional emails and schedule them for post/distribution across various communication channels
  • Provide creative ideas for social media content marketing, instore launch events and sale-driven activities
  • Regular review and audit of Websites, Social Media Sites, User Interface and make recommendations for technical / aesthetic improvements to be made
  • Measure and Review performance of marketing efforts ROI using analytics tools available on Vend / Shopify / Marsello / FB / IG / Google etc
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends, keep tabs on influencers and brand ambassadors to identity potential collaboration opportunities
  • Utilise analytics and sales data to track sales trends and identify growth opportunities

 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Course of Study - Mass Communication / Mass Media Management
  • Competency in Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite, Lightroom, photo and video editing skills are a must
  • Savvy with creation of digital assets, kick-ass photo and video editing skills coupled with a knack for writing great content would be a major advantage
  • Good understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with Shopify, Facebook Business, Instagram, TIK TOK GoogleMyBusiness would be a plus
  • Experience with E-commerce Reseller platforms Shopee / Lazada / Qo10 would also be a plus
