You will assist and be mentored by the Financial Controller for APAC. As an accounting intern, you will be exposed to more than one business entity where you will assist with the books each company.
You’ll be exposed to the business side, and will help to develop ways to measure the value of your work. You will assist to coordinate with logistics and suppliers and gain valuable insight into various accounting and reporting practices.
The role requires a detail and process oriented person who can learn fast and help to prepare necessary documentation and maintain records as well as follow Standard Operating Procedures closely. As part of this role you will:
- Assist maintaining balance sheet schedules.
- Help to Generate monthly financial reports within 2 - 3 weeks following closure of the month.
- Perform a guided Financial analysis of current month vs prior month with the Financial controller.
- Assist in analyzing various rates.
- Help with inventory cost of goods and related calculations.
- Help with reconciliation of monthly retail collections
Key Skills:
- Articulate and Fluent in Oral and Written English
- Preferably Accounting as major.
- Experience Accounting software such as MYOB, Quickbooks, etc
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Focus on improving quality and provide feedback and automated reports
