Job Description

We're looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual who is interested in the digital post-production workflow of video and film. You will work closely with the director and editor on projects ranging from small corporate videos to 30/60/90s TVCs, and will be given the opportunity to follow projects throughout the full post-production workflow.

Whilst we will take all applicants into consideration, do note that post-production is a technologically-intensive process, and we will give priority to applicants who have a good understanding of the operation of a Windows 10 computer system, and who are able to smoothly operate the following programs:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe Media Encoder
  • Adobe After Effects
  • DaVinci Resolve

As a post-production intern, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Junior/Assistant Editor

  • Assist and support the editor throughout the production process.
  • Participate in pre-production meetings to understand project requirements before a shoot.
  • Wrangle and organize data on set.
  • Ensure safe storage of dailies/rushes during and after a shoot.
  • Manage and organize dailies/rushes after a shoot.
  • Prepare a project for edit following a shoot according to company workflows.
  • Export and upload Offline/Onlines to specified video compression settings.
  • Carry out change requests following initial cut by editor.
  • Select, assemble, and color grade secondary deliverables such as BTS footage and Trailers on an ad-hoc basis.

You will be paid on a project-to-project basis starting from $250 - $1500 depending on the duration, requirements and nature of the project, as well as your performance, ability and your synergy with the team. We will discuss your rates further should you be shortlisted for a meeting.
