Job Description

Having successfully launched the business, we are now looking to accelerate our growth and are looking for smart, tech savvy, intern in Singapore to support with Inside Sales activities locally. This is an opportunity to learn, earn and grow your knowledge & acumen about the functioning of a Tech Start-up. This is also a pathway to securing full time employment with the Company as it scales. 

About the Role:

The role of an Inside Sales Intern at Ocktolife would require you to: 

1. Build a Target ICP Database – use LinkedIn &/or other sources to build a database with contact details and other relevant information of our target enterprises/buyers in Singapore;

2. Cold Outreach - use email drip marketing strategies, cold calling or other innovative approaches via social media, surveys etc. to establish contact with the target enterprise buyers in the database;

3. Appointment Setting - engage prospect leads, generate interest for Ocktolife Proposition, gather initial intelligence around their current benefits administration model, set appointments;

4. Lead Nurturing - post appointment follow ups, nurturing leads & keeping them warm, setting up follow-up meetings, mapping the organisation and identifying other key influencers, decision makers;

5. Support Business Development - provide any support needed by the Sales team/Founders in business development

The KPIs & Metrics for the Role would include: 

1. Volume - Number of meetings/week [MQL]

2. Quality - Number of MQLs progressing to SQL per month

About the Ideal Candidate: 

We are looking for students pursuing their MBA or Mass Communications or Other post graduate courses and are looking to spend some time working for a real life business in Singapore which would given them invaluable practical experience to supplement their formal education. 

The skills that would be required for this role include:

1. Strategic Thinking & Planning – Ability to evaluate options, think and plan the best approach to achieve desired outcomes;

2. Execution & Improvisation – Ability to implement the agreed action plan effectively and thinking fast to improvise the approach mid-stream, if needed, to achieve outcomes;

3. Communication – Ability to listen, understand, internalise, verbalise & improvise when interacting with prospects to secure their attention & desire to learn more via a meeting with the sales team; 

4. Relationship Building & Nurturing – Ability to establish rapport with the prospect, engaging with them over an extended period of time to keep them warm & be their voice within Ocktolfie;

5. Positivity & Resilience – Ability to overcome rejection from prospects and making the next call and outreach with the same excitement and positivity like the first, focus on outcomes.
