Job Description

Internship (AAC - Quality Management)  2023


At NTUC Health, we are committed to implementing and maintaining quality across our Active Ageing Centres. The intern will work with the Quality Manager to raise awareness and to establish and maintain standards, operational procedures and documentations. In addition, the intern will conduct compliance checks to review and analyse the operation processes to check whether the implemented controls and their outputs meet the requirements. 

During the internship, the intern is expected to visit the different AACs for the adoption of the standards and compliance review. The intern will report to the Quality Manager.

 

  • Design methodology for the review of compliance to AAC Operations Standard
  • Develop roll-out implementation plans and materials 
  • Conduct compliance checks, through methods such as interviews, observations and reviews of documentation, to ensure that quality management measures are in place, effective and sustainable
  • Work with Centres’-In-Charge to understand ground issues and concerns, identify areas of improvements and develop improvement plans
  • Compile, analyze data and findings and provide recommendations
  • Establish operational procedures to improve consistency and efficiency in day to day processes
  • Raise awareness on quality through various channels such as but not limited to organizing Quality Day events, issuance of quality newsletters or staff training 
  • May require to perform additional duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Keen interest in quality management in eldercare sector
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiar with Google Workspace
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
