The administrative duties will generally include the preparation and verification of documents; management of data records; compilation of statistics; drafting of correspondences; and handling calls and enquiries. The successful candidate may be deployed to support in a variety of areas such as Human Resources, Estate Management and General Administration.
The duties will include as follows:
- Data entry, data management
- Customer Relationship Management including frontline duties (Manning of reception counter, attending to queries (phone and face-to-face)
- Pupil Admission (Foreign and local)
- Source and procure supplies to meet school’s needs
- General office administrative duties
- Logistics and operational support for events
- Other general duties or projects assigned by the school
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
1) 21 years and above preferred, and should be responsible, mobile and mature;
2) Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident;
3) Possess at least one of the following qualifications:
a. Certificate in Office Skills / Nitec in Office Skills / Nitec in Service Skills (Office) / Certificate in Business Studies (Accounting) / Higher Nitec in Accounting / Higher Nitec in Business Administration / Higher Nitec in Business - Information Technology / Higher Nitec in Business Studies (Administration) / Certificate in Business Studies (Secretarial Practice); or
b. 3 or more GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English or Mathematics or the equivalent of ESS Career Readiness Certificate (Operations); or
c. 3 or more GCE ‘N’ Level passes including at least a P3 in English and Mathematics or the equivalent of ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5
4) Positive working attitude and a good team player
5) Preferably with at least 2 years of current and relevant work experience in general administration, personnel, finance, and/or training administration in a school environment
6) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) ; IT Savvy
7) Knowledge of first-aid is preferred
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
