Natural Trace wants to be the force of good enabling growers and enterprise customers to be responsible in sharing the origin of raw materials and where our food comes from. Founded in 2021, we are a Food Science and Bioinformatics firm that enables people to fully trust the provenance, quality and safety of the foods they consume and products they use.
Our patented innovation uses natural food ingredients as unique tags, based on DNA identification. From food and pharmaceuticals, to fragrance and cosmetics; our tags can be added directly to your raw materials. This enables Tracing and Authentication to uphold standards and minimise risk.
We are seeking a motivated Intern who will contribute to proof-of-concept work that are essential for product development milestones and initial products to our customers.
You will achieve hands-on experiences of bringing a patented food-tech product from the lab to initial customers that will help growers and companies prove the origin of their labour.
Your main responsibility includes, but not limited to:
● Perform lab experiments using molecular biology (eg. PCR) techniques.
● Ensure accurate and prompt documentation.
● Conduct literature review and understand industry developments.
● Manage and maintain laboratory supplies, equipment and inventories.
You should have:
● Diploma and above in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Food Technology.
● Experience with wet lab techniques will be advantages.
● Passion for science and food.
● Possess open-minded personality and willingness to learn.
