National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre – Intern, Collaborative Impact

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the steward of the City of Good vision for Singapore, where individuals, organisations, and leaders come together to give their best for others. Through our brands, programmes, and initiatives, we facilitate partnerships with non-profits, organisations, public sector bodies, and individuals to enliven the giving ecosystem within Singapore. A) Project prep and follow-up work including:

• Research and/or follow up on potential organisations and/or charities for further partnerships
• Monitor, follow up and track attendance of all events (on Excel)
• Send pre- and post-event emails using Mail Merge or other functions (reminder to attend event, asking for feedback etc)
• Upload attendance and related data into Salesforce
• Tracking of performance of programs

B) Project logistics support including:

• Source for suitable F&B, venue options and other related items for events
• Receive F&B items, setting them up at designated areas and ensure proper clean-up after
• Set up venues (at NVPC and external) and tear down after

Qualifications

• Year 2 4 student at a local university
• Able to write clearly and concisely
• Able to analyse simple data and make recommendations
• Has an eye for details
• Enjoys event management preferably
