This position supports cluster events organised by the Group Quality Resource Management Department. The selected candidate will work closely with the event secretariat team and institution representatives to ensure events are rolled out on time and run smoothly. A meticulous and dependable individual, the candidate is expected to work independently with brief guidelines. A minimum commitment of 3 months is required to support the event from preparation to post event.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist event secretariat to prepare, consolidate and verify list of award winners and their details
- Preparation of award winners’ (certificates, prizes, write-ups, attendance etc)
- Coordinate with various institution representatives for required info related to the event
- Assist in pre and post event administration and logistic matters
- Onsite support for rehearsals and actual event
- Liaise with vendors to follow up on changes
- Any other duties assigned by Secretariat
Requirements:
- Polytechnic or University students applying for internship in any related disciplines, for example Healthcare Administration, Events Management, Hospitality and Business Administration
- Candidates with relevant work experience will be considered favourably
- Able to commit 4-6months between 1 April and Sept 2019
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel
- Meticulous
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work in a team
