About Us: Nanyang Education is a leading tuition centre in Singapore dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence in Math, Science, and Chinese. We are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in finance and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and invoice processing 
- Help prepare monthly financial statements and management reports 
- Reconcile bank statements and verify transactions 
- Assist in tracking receivables, payables, and petty cash 
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities 
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records 
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts 
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments on payment matters 
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned 
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles 
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications 
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently 
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
- Prior experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus, but not required
