About Us: Nanyang Education is a leading tuition centre in Singapore dedicated to helping students achieve academic excellence in Math, Science, and Chinese. We are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in finance and operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and invoice processing
Help prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Reconcile bank statements and verify transactions
Assist in tracking receivables, payables, and petty cash
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
Liaise with vendors and internal departments on payment matters
Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Prior experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) is a plus, but not required
