About the Role :
Are you ready to turn your creativity into something exciting and fun? Monday Rascals Weddings & Families is looking for a Marketing Intern who is brimming with ideas, loves capturing content, and knows how to tell a story that stops people from scrolling!
What We Would Love to See in You :
Creative Energy : You have got a knack for storytelling using different types of hooks and know how to bring ideas to life in fresh, exciting ways to get people engaged and entertained. Basically, you like using your phone and laptop.
Good Aesthetic Sense : You know what looks good and better yet, you can create it. Whether it is a moodboard, a video, or a set of IG stories, your aesthetic sense is on point.
Content Creation : Whether it is filming BTS at a wedding, a family shoot, creating content about our day-to-day lives, or designing graphics for a social media post/video, you are proficient with tools like CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Suite. Plus point if you are well-versed with a camera!
Social Media Savvy : You don’t just use Instagram and TikTok. You understand the platform. You know what is currently trending and know how to adapt ideas to work with its vibe and algorithms.
Detail Oriented : You catch the smallest stuff whether it is a typo in a caption or a jump cut that is just a little off. Clean, candid content is your type standard.
Team Player : You love bouncing ideas off others, taking feedback, and bringing positive energy to the team.
Wedding & Family Curious : You are genuinely interested in the world of weddings and family photography & videography, and you are excited to work in an industry full of love, stories, and creativity. Willingness to work on weekends because most weddings don’t happen on weekdays!
What You Will be Doing :
Content Creation and Management
- Must be comfortable being on camera and serve as a talent for video content when needed to follow current trends is a plus.
- Use design tools to create graphics and visuals that complement written content and enhance audience engagement.
- Develop and execute engaging video content and social media strategies that align with brand goals.
- Create, edit, and manage posts, stories, reels, and shorts for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, XHS, and Lemon8.
- Use editing tools like CapCut, Canva, and others to streamline content creation and maintain visual quality.
- Monitor and stay ahead of social media trends, applying insights to optimize content for reach and engagement.
Bonus
- Basic photography skills to follow us and learn alongside us for shoots! Interest in photography and/or videography is a huge plus.
- Potentially turn this into a full-time career with us!
