Operations Intern (Pre-Uni internship - Q1 2022)
The Role
Momos is hiring for an Operations intern who is meticulous and willing to take on tasks big and small. This role sits in the Operations team which will support every function within the company, including Sales, Product, Account Management and more. There will be many exciting opportunities to learn from each team but you will also have to put in the time and effort to support even the smallest of tasks - every little contribution counts in a hypergrowth startup. The team has a good mix of extremely competent yet fun-loving individuals, who are very serious about our job and our contributions, but who are also willing to teach and groom you in your early career. This will be a great opportunity for A-Level and Poly students who want to get good exposure to business and get to "work the ground" before starting University.
The ideal candidate is someone who has an extremely hungry learning attitude and is comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks assigned.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Render strong support to both the Operations and Product teams in building workflows/ SOPs pertaining to checks on data accuracy and raise any issues found
- Render support to Account Managers/ Customer Success team in resolving clients' problems raised in a timely manner through strong coordination with Engineering leads
- Build proactive monitoring and checks on product functionality, and consequently flag gaps to relevant teams
- Track and report on number of problems identified and resolved to understand product issues and breakages
- Accomplish ad-hoc operational tasks and projects as required to ensure smooth business operations
Ideal Background
- Fresh A-Level or Polytechnic graduate awaiting university entry
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Meticulous and able to accurately complete tasks independently without any negligence
- Willing to put in the best effort even on the mundane task
- Positive attitude and willing to learn the skills and tools required for the job
- Willing to commit for at least 5-6 months
Nice to Haves
- Comfortable with using software such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, and potentially even computing languages such as SQL
- Has a strong love for constant learning, across all aspects of the business including operations, business, product etcetera
- Comfortable contributing actively in group projects and working with different stakeholders
