Job Title: Cybersecurity Consultant
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cybersecurity consulting services to our clients, including security assessments, risk management, incident response, and security program development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps in clients’ systems and networks
- Develop security policies, procedures, and standards for clients, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and recommendations on security controls, solutions, and technologies to mitigate identified risks
- Assist clients with incident response and investigations, including containment, recovery, and forensics
- Conduct security awareness and training sessions for clients’ employees and stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze security logs, events, and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client meetings, proposal writing, and presenting cybersecurity solutions to potential clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of our services
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cybersecurity consulting services to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, security assessments, or related field
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, HIPAA, PDPC, PDPA etc.
- Proven experience in conducting security assessments and audits using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Knowledge of security controls, solutions, and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, encryption, authentication, etc.
- Experience with incident response and investigations, including malware analysis, forensics, and reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
