Sales & Marketing Intern (6-Month Contract) – Freight Forwarding + Logistics

Location: 10 Jalan Kilang, Bukit Merah Enterprise Centre
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6:00pm
Commitment Period: 6 months
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to support business development and customer engagement within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.The intern will gain hands-on experience in sourcing new customers, and supporting the management of customer accounts. This role provides exposure to real-world sales processes and client relationship management.You will work closely with internal teams to support daily sales activities, coordinate customer interactions, and contribute to delivering reliable logistics solutions. This internship offers valuable learning opportunities in sales, marketing, and the logistics industry while building a strong foundation for future career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing and identification of potential customers through research and outreach.
- Assist in customer acquisition and account coordination activities
- Support procurement processes including vendor sourcing, price comparison and negotiation
- Assist with cold calling and scheduling customer appointments
- Support in preparation of quotations, proposals, and assisting in basic sales reports
- Support customer communication and follow-ups
- Assist in website creation and maintenance to enhance branding and online presence.
- Provide general and operational support to the Sales and Marketing Team
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Currently pursuing Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to take initiative
- Basic knowledge or interest in sales and marketing is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Canva, or website tools is an advantage
- This is a non-convertible internship position
