Job Description

Your Role 

The Art Direction intern will work with a team of designers, artists, and marketers to create visual concepts for various projects such as advertising campaigns, branding projects, and digital products. The intern will be responsible for leading the creative development of visual concepts, and working with the team to ensure that the concepts align with the overall vision for the project. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the team to develop and refine visual concepts
  • Creating detailed sketches and illustrations to communicate ideas to the team
  • Directing the work of other designers, artists and interns
  • Using digital tools such as Photoshop, SketchBook, and Illustrator to create and edit artwork
  • Participating in meetings and presentations to present and discuss concepts with the team and clients
  • Assisting in the development of style guides and design documents
  • Staying current with industry trends and techniques 

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Art or related program, in an institute of higher learning
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC software; especially Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of design principles and typography
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to commit to a part time (3 days a week) or full time internship from Nov 2023 onwards
