About this position: Based in Singapore, the intern will be working closely with our colleagues based in Beijing to support our new entity set-up in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that enhance user experience and drive user engagement.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and business teams to understand product vision and alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with developers and relevant stakeholders to incorporate design and ensures that the final product meets all specifications and requirements.
- Validate and continuously refine design solutions based on end user feedback.
Requirements:
- Diploma or undergraduate, who is currently pursuing studies in Design, or a related Social Science field.
- Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents are preferred.
- Some experience in UI/UX design, graphic design or front-end development will be advantageous.
- Proficient knowledge of design tools – Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design-related tools, coupled with strong understanding of Web design principles.
- Understanding of technology capabilities such as HTML, CSS or front-end technologies will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and/or Malay is required to facilitate cross border discussion with stakeholders.
- Have good teamwork spirit, strong sense of responsibility, positive and optimistic attitude.
- Attach a portfolio that showcases your design work and provides detail about your design thinking processes upon application. It can be an attached soft-copy or an URL.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to the internship duration of between 10 weeks to 6 months.
