Novelship Pte Ltd – Software Engineer Intern

As a Software Engineering Intern at Novelship, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Engineering, Product, and Design teams to contribute to the development of features for the Novelship Marketplace Site and Mobile App. Under the guidance of Senior Engineers, you will write high-quality code primarily in Javascript, React, and Node.js, while gaining practical experience in software development across both front-end and back-end domains.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to develop features and enhancements for the Novelship Marketplace Site and Mobile App.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Javascript, React, and Node.js.

• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to engineering best practices and maintain high development standards.

• Identify areas for improvement within existing applications and provide recommendations for design and implementation enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and support Novelship's Marketplace and services.

• Demonstrate a commitment to learning and growth by actively seeking feedback and incorporating it into your work.

What we’re looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Javascript, React, and Node.js.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Prior experience with software development projects or internships is a plus.
