Job Description

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2023/2024!

Internships at MVGX aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Kickstart your career in the growing fintech industry, accelerate your professional development and grow your network.

About this position: Based in Singapore, the intern will be working closely with our colleagues based in Beijing to support our new entity set-up in Malaysia.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the development teams and assist in optimization of front-end tools such as web browsers
  • Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional web browser optimizing the product experience.
  • Perform code testing to ensure reliability, security and performance of web browser applications to deliver compelling end user experience.
  • Researching on the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and providing recommendations for improvement

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or undergraduate, who is currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical major
  • Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents are preferred.
  • Understanding of common data structure, algorithm design and analysis
  • Passionate about developing frontend web applications, familiar with fundamental frontend knowledge including JavaScript/HTML/CSS as well as common web compilation and bundling frameworks including WebSocket, DOM protocol, security network or other front-end technologies.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies continuously
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and/or Malay is required to facilitate cross border discussion with stakeholders.
  • Have good teamwork spirit, strong sense of responsibility, positive and optimistic attitude.

 

Successful candidates must be able to commit to the internship duration of between 10 weeks to 6 months.
