Merry Bees Pte. Ltd. – Marketing & Events Intern

• Design, create and plan digital content for Merry Bees on social media platforms such as FB, IG, YouTube and Tiktok.
• Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
• Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels: FB, IG, YouTube and Tiktok.
• Provide administrative and operational support
• Manage paid marketing advertisements for all social media platforms.
• Plan client and internal marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate and write blog articles for company websites.
• Coordinate with various parties to ensure successful campaigns
• On-site production/shoot at events to record content and archive events and projects.
• Post event/production edits on recorded footage using adobe creative suite and other softwares such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Managing professionals and talents in the arts, entertainment and events industry
• Managing production crew and other professionals in production houses
• Provide administrative and operational support
• Coordinating events and shoots on-site or virtually
• Production assistant to production/technical team for events and other company projects.
• Other ad hoc duties when required

Criteria:

• Background or students pursuing Diploma / Bachelor in Digital Media Design, Marketing, Graphics Design, Arts Management, Film & Media Studies, Events Management or other related disciplines.
• An English grammar nazi and possess competent copyrighting skills.
• Loves a flexible work schedule and able to work on weekends
• Background in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro.
• Able and open to work under pressure and willing to work flexible hours
• Team Player and pleasant personality
• 44 hours work week commitment

Learning Outcomes:

• Gaining knowledge and firsthand experience at handling various brands of professional sound systems, musical instruments and amplifiers.
• Mentorship and coaching by experienced sound engineers on techniques of handling sound system, cabling, and digital/analog mixer consoles
• Gain and experience a myriad of portfolio and projects in events 
• Ability to plan and project manage a physical/hybrid event from start to finish
• Execute successfully an event from start to end
• Grow in cultural awareness, events and entertainment knowledge
• Gain experience in handling client’s requests 
• Ability to juggle time-sensitive assignments, projects and client management
• Obtain physical / hybrid / virtual event management skills
